Introduction from Ms. Lisa Wespiser (Wess-pie-zer)

"2018 marks my 22nd year in education. I began my career as a kindergarten teacher in Silicon Valley. Shortly thereafter, I moved north to beautiful Sonoma County where I discovered Waldorf Education while searching for a better educational fit for my daughter. After experiencing her transformation, I decided to embark on the path of Waldorf teaching. I taught at Sebastopol Independent Charter School for half of my career and my journey through the grades was one of the highlights of my life. Along the way, I discovered a love for directing plays and planning community events and fundraisers. In addition to grades teaching, I have taught Waldorf kindergarten and served on the Faculty Council and a variety of other leadership positions.

In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering in the community, folk dancing, foreign language, and hiking with my dog Fergus. I'm looking forward to making Boise my new home and working together to make Peace Valley Charter School a vibrant educational home and community for our students and families."
