Andrew Ross earned his Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Liberty University in 2003. In 2013, he completed his Master in Education in Education Leadership: Administration and Supervision from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Since beginning his career in education over a decade ago, Andrew has had the opportunity to serve students in all grade levels from PreK-12th. He has worked in various educational settings, including public and private schools. He also taught overseas in Vienna, Austria. He has coached all ages in such sports as soccer, volleyball, and basketball and he has taught health and physical education.
Andrew and his wife lived in Vienna, Austria, where he served as the athletic director and secondary health and physical education teacher at a small, private school. In 2008, he returned to the U.S. and moved to the Atlanta area. He worked for the Metro Atlanta YMCA as a Sports Director and Education Coordinator. In December 2009, he returned to teaching at Indian Creek Elementary School in Clarkston, Georgia, where he worked as a health and physical education teacher. Over the last 5 years, he served at the Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School where he became passionate about charter schools as well as the value of a smaller school family environment.
He is thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with parents, faculty, and students at Peace Valley Charter School. He relishes learning and walking alongside anyone in their journey of lifetime fitness. Personally, he enjoys hiking, soccer, running, and woodworking. Andrew and his wife, Deborah, have three children: Ella, Findlay, and Cora.
