Finalized Reopening Plan and More

Dear Peace Valley community,

Today I'm happy to share with you our finalized Reopening School plan as well our Remote Learning School plan. As we prepare for the beginning of school next month, I feel the difficulties of this situation deeply, as I'm sure you do as well. But despite the uncertainty and stress, I'm finding hope in these plans, as they mark the way towards coming together again as a school and a community. To put it plainly, all of us here at the school are missing you and your families. And although our world is still changing, we're excited to connect with you again in the safest and healthiest avenue available to us.

There are several key changes happening this year for all of our students, all of which are outlined in the reopening plan document. Some highlights include the option of remote learning for any students who prefer this education model, and early release on both Thursday and Friday in order to accommodate our usual staff meetings as well as Remote Learning planning and preparation.

Please keep in mind that this plan is meant as a starting place and a guide. There may be unexpected developments we must address, questions that will need to be answered, and so forth. We will continue to share additional information on many subjects including our Remote Learning School, health self-screening, and safe use of the building and school campus throughout August.

Our School Reopening plan can be found here, our Remote Learning School plan can be found here, and our Remote Learning School sign up can be found here.

Thank you all so much for your input in developing these plans and confiding your concerns to me. Thank you for your patience as we navigate these strange times together. And most of all, thank you for being part of our school family.

Together we serve,

Andrew Ross
