Christina Russell grew up a small town in Norther Michigan. She spent her summers diving into Lake Michigan and collecting local Petoskey stones. Christina always knew that she wanted to work with children, so she attended Northern Michigan University in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula.
For her last semester of college, Christina moved to Boise to live with her sister while student teaching. Working in a diverse first grade classroom really got Christina excited about having her own students. She fell in love with all of the outdoor activities that Idaho had to offer, and decided to make Boise her home.
In her free time Christina likes to free run or train for half marathons, downhill ski, hike, camp, fish, crochet, camp, play with her niece and anything else active and outdoors. She is very excited to be a teacher at Peace Valley this year!
