Cara grew up in Northern and Southern California and Hawaii where she enjoyed their arts and culture, as well as their natural beauty and peace. As a child, Cara enjoyed the outdoors, singing, swimming, writing poetry, animals, art, and reading. Cara started traveling at the age of 10 when she was fortunate enough to go to Israel. She has continued to travel throughout her life to Asia, Europe, and Central America and hopes to see much more of the world.
Cara has a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in photography from Dominican University of California, as well as Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University.
Cara has worked with children in the Boise area at a variety of settings, including Sage International School of Boise, Foothills School of Arts and Sciences, Boise River Montessori, Urban Green Kids, and Shire Early Education.
Cara has enjoyed learning from her own two children's individual experiences and perspectives and believes one of the many joys of being a parent and a teacher is getting to see the world again through the eyes of children.
